Is the Environmental Protection Agency really protecting anything?

Throughout this blog we will be addressing environmental fluctuations. These will be short and sweet but have enough information to give us essential knowledge of our planet's wellbeing and a foundation of resistance in ways of rising against this Earthly oppression. So we begin with organizations that seem helpful based on their title and public hierarchy but really are doing massive setbacks and harm to the planet.

The EPA under the Trump administration 2017 - 2026 has turned their priority from protecting the environment to energy production and economic development. To do this, regulations like, not building factories near local waterways or keeping tough pollution restrictions on industrial facilities, are being rolled back, deleted, no more. Regulations on wildlife endangerment, massive oil drilling, and harmful ghg emissions causing global warming, are all going bye bye.

What can we do to help?

  • Stay informed with your local environmental news. New roads for Oil drilling, deforestation orders, land surveys for new facilities, etc. If we know when and where the pollution 'machine' will hit, we can speak with our council people and representatives about change.
  • Read the Field Guide to Monkey Wrenching. This handbook is banned but it can seriously come in handy when fighting against evil corporations/government.
  • Create a community of like-minded people. This is a movement, a lifestyle, and an honorable endeavor. Let's protect the one thing that gives us life, the Earth. Let's talk about change, let's actually do something!
